Good information shortens the search. The goal is not to send everything—it is to send the few details that separate your vehicle from similar configurations.
Vehicle information
Provide the full VIN along with year, make, model and trim. Mention engine, transmission, drivetrain and body style when known.
Part information
Photograph the old part and its identifiers before removal or disposal. Include its installed location and whether it is on the left or right side of the vehicle.
Repair information
Share the technician's diagnosis and any known modifications. This context can reveal when the requested name does not match the component actually needed.
